The Yamaha FZ1 returns to the market after a facelift. This is not an issue for Yamaha lovers since the 2012 FZ1 already boasts of good performance numbers.
The FZ1 is the biggest naked sportbike in the current lineup of Japanese manufacturer Yamaha, and it has a big chunk of expectations to meet. No worries though as the new Yamaha FZ1 has a lot of things going for it and it will not be a problem to meet and exceed the demands of the market.
The Yamaha FZ1 retains the sculpted design of its body which means it still features a very aggressive stance for a naked bike. The seat comes as a two-piece configuration to guarantee a comfortable ride while a grab rail is there for the passenger.
The FZ1 makes use of a multireflector 60/55 watt headlight which is designed in consonance with the aggressive profile and aerodynamics of the bike. The Yamaha FZ1 also features high-tech gauges like a digital speedometer, trip meter, odometer, tachometer just to mention some.
Between the frames is a powerful 998cc 20 valve DOHC engine which is specifically tuned to have that mid-range aggressiveness and massive power. The FZ1 also has a fuel injection setup in place with computerized sub-throttle valve which guarantees that the air mixture and fuel delivery are very precise to have that power thru the range of the rev.
The handling of the FZ1 Is also impressive with an adjustable suspension system that allows the driver to maximize the versatility of the bike without sacrificing comfort and performance capabilities.
