These Chicara Motorcycles aren’t meant to be driven. That’s a point you HAVE to understand before you divert your eyes at the photos below. These are works of art — Million dollar bikes that are built for visual pleasure — something the designer Chicara Nagata succeeds in achieving in every single one of his creations – in my humble opinion.

Mr. Chicara has built 13 bikes to date, 3 of them that can be seen at the Ippodo Gallery right now (where you can also buy them for one million each). Photos below are the bikes currently for viewing – photos thanks to the Ippodo Gallery & the official Chicara Art site!

I’m not the biggest fans of rhinestone-’enhanced’ Harley-Davidson Choppers or silver-plated Yamahas — but this kind of custom bike design does tickle my fancy a little bit…

It’s gorgeous, it’s different, and apparently it’s quite fast though. It’s called the “Cyril Sportster” and it looks like the perfect bike for a billionaire pimp.

I’ll take two.

This thing is preposterous.
