Banned tv-commercial: Kawasaki Ninja

This ad was turned down by the federal commission due to it’s content. Not surprisingly, it was found to be promoting exceeding speed limits. No shit, sherlock!

Anyway — an excellent commercial none the less, and at least it’s straightforward. Yes, people do buy these Kawasaki Ninjas to go 286 km/h. It’s true.

The FZ6 is an urban sports bike which has a dual over head cam (DOHC), 4 cylinder and liquid cooled engine. The engine is an R6 based engine. The body is made with aluminum which reduces the weight of the bike considerably to have effective control over it. The brakes are ABS employing dual discs and single discs in front and rear wheels respectively. The speedy and power packed engine gives you agility on the streets and the aerodynamics provides high maneuverability and control over the FZ6. The FZ6 can claim to be a king of the streets and has the looks which make it beautiful no matter how you look at it.

First of all — the track is called The Doctor and it’s by ‘Megadeath’. It’s a great tribute to one of the most amazing riders ever to hit the tracks: Valentino Rossi.

I so love the Repsol Honda — it’s so very sexy.

Ultimate Factories: Harley Davidson

A short piece of a great Ultimate Factories episode from National Geographic. They take a look at the Harley Davidson assembly line, and these V-rod engines look awesome. BEASTS!

There’s also a little info on how combustion works — for those who have no idea about this that’s always good, I assume — but come on…

The transmission looks sooooo sexy. Harleys still rock badly!

Who’s fastest? The Porsche 911 or the Yamaha R1

I realize some bike fanatics will not enjoy the commentary by Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson, but I love it. The whole vid is pure entertainment, including the excellent driving. At the end, the beautiful Porsche 911 beats the sexy Yamaha R1 to the punch in the final straight — but we can pretty much see both vehicles are better on different grounds. Another track could well give another outcome.

Still — like I said: pure entertainment. Enjoy!

Going 299hm/h on a Yamaha R1 or Cbr 954rr

This guy is absolutely nuts. I mean — I like to go fast, but this is just plain suicide. He slaloms, he speeds up and slows down… crazy stuff.

Still, a great video to watch. See this guy break 280 several times, topping off at 299. Enjoy!

A quick question: does anyone know for sure this is a Yamaha R1 or a Cbr 954rr? I’m just not sure
