I’m not the biggest fans of rhinestone-’enhanced’ Harley-Davidson Choppers or silver-plated Yamahas — but this kind of custom bike design does tickle my fancy a little bit…
It’s gorgeous, it’s different, and apparently it’s quite fast though. It’s called the “Cyril Sportster” and it looks like the perfect bike for a billionaire pimp.
I’ll take two.

LOL this is absolutely gay. Guy “speeds” his Suziki TLR1000 by a camera on some pier in some third world country — and makes a complete fool of himself due to the pathetic speed…
Excellent laugh, though.

An absolutely amazing photo compilation from Deals Gap, NC. The route is called the Tail of the Dragon amongst riders. One day I’m going for it!

Navanman must have one heck of a langer because he’s been working hard on his Suzuki TLR1000.
We asked him if we could post some of his photos and he kindly allowed us to — so here goes!

This thing is preposterous.
According tot the youtube page:
11 feet high. 20 feet long. And, a $300,000 pricetag. No one believed he could pull it off, but he built it anyway.
Alone in his workshop at home, Greg Dunham crafted the world’s largest motorcycle. Not only does the giant machine
look amazing, it actually drives!
ROFL

If you’re a fan of vintage race bikes, and you like your bikes to have a little history — you will surely like Benelli bikes. Albeit Benelli is currently Chinese-owned (Qianjiang), the manufacturer’s history is closely aligned with that of the motorcycle industry in its root nation Italy.
According to Wikipedia: “Benelli was established in Pesaro, Italy in 1911. Teresa Benelli, a widow, invested all of the family capital into the business in the hope that it would offer stable work for her six sons: Giuseppe, Giovanni, Francesco, Filippo, Domenico and Antonio (“Tonino”).”
Anyway — this bike is NOT the average 1976 Benelli 250 2C. It’s the CUP version — not surprisingly a racing bike.

The presenter is obviously semi-braindead (no offence) but the bike looks terrific. It’s obviously a pure racing beast but according to the reports I’ve read he performs excellent as a cruiser too as long as you get it adjusted to your comfort zone a little, which helps to justify the price tag, obviously…

Okay I’ve gone 100% vintage bike fan now and I’ve decided to get one — it’s just a matter of picking what kind (and what make) I like best. I promise to take all of you along for the ride while I cruise around the web looking for a bike.

Today, an absolutely gorgeous 1305cc 1929 Henderson KJ. Dave Hennesey’s site over at hendersonkj.com is pretty awesome, but I’m afraid these will be over my budget. Oh well — the pics still look awesome!

Photos thanks to www.hendersonkj.com — so lots of linklove going his way!

I’m looking for a vintage motorcycle for the hot summer days (not to do the long cruises but for weekend trips along the riversides etc, sue me, I’m a romantic), and after looking for a couple days I stumbled upon one that I think is absolutely gorgeous — this 1955 Ducati 98…
Now — I have no clue where to start looking for one, but I’m going to give it a go… Wish me luck!
