One Sick World Superbike Crash

August 5th, 2008 · No Comments

This extreme crash from the World Superbike is one of the luckiest things I’ve ever seen in bike racing… Whoever this is got crushed into the padded wall, then falls down which saves his life as someone else’s bike just misses his head…

Whoever that is — he’s got one hell of a guardian angel. :)

Suzuki TLR1000 Idle & Revving

July 12th, 2008 · No Comments

I love the Suzuki TLR1000 — we’ve established that before and I try to mention the TL’s as much as I can and this awesome idle sound video (and mediocre revving, what a nub! haha) is very much worth some Isopo Moto Link Love! :D

Old timer Motorcycle Insurance

June 7th, 2008 · No Comments

There are a few considerations these specialized motorcycle insurance companies ask before giving you old timer motorcycle insurance coverage. If all of these do not apply to you they may still consider offering you coverage but it possibly will be at a higher rate.

To be considered an old timer or vintage motorcycles it has to be at least fifteen years old. You require you to store your old timer in a locked garage. Another way to get a cheaper rate is to have a clean driving record. They will accept one speeding ticket in the past three years but any other convictions are not accepted. If you have had no fault claims in the last five years that will also help you to get better rates. Most bikers need a full category “A” license for at least 2 years. The only bikes they will specialize in are British, European and Japanese bikes. They would rather you had not done any modifications on your vintage bike. The minimum drivers age is twenty-five years of age.

These are all things to consider and be aware of as you are shopping for old timer motorcycle insurance. You can pull up many companies that are specialists in vintage motorcycle insurance.

These have bikes themselves or have had a bike. They know how valuable your old timer is to you and they are willing to help you get the best coverage for your old timer as you need and your budget can stand. Be sure to ask many questions because there may be more discount rate motorcycle insurance offers that haven’t been mentioned above.

Custom Bike – Cyril Sportster 1991

May 20th, 2008 · 8 Comments

I’m not the biggest fans of rhinestone-’enhanced’ Harley-Davidson Choppers or silver-plated Yamahas — but this kind of custom bike design does tickle my fancy a little bit… ;)

It’s gorgeous, it’s different, and apparently it’s quite fast though. It’s called the “Cyril Sportster” and it looks like the perfect bike for a billionaire pimp.

I’ll take two.

Wow, this dude manages 60mph on a TLR

May 16th, 2008 · No Comments

LOL this is absolutely gay. Guy “speeds” his Suziki TLR1000 by a camera on some pier in some third world country — and makes a complete fool of himself due to the pathetic speed…

Excellent laugh, though.
